Shedfield Lodge provides residential care and dementia residential care, together with respite and day care. The home supports people with a broad range of needs and is committed to tailoring support around each individual's circumstances, preferences and wellbeing.

Care is shaped around dignity, reassurance and person-centred support. Staff understand the importance of recognising each person as an individual and creating an environment that supports comfort, stimulation and purpose, including for residents living with dementia and more complex needs.

As well as long-term care, the home also offers flexible support for respite and day care, helping families at times of change, recovery or when extra help is needed.

Bedrooms at Shedfield Lodge are spacious, comfortable and designed to provide both privacy and reassurance. Many rooms have en-suite facilities, and rooms can be personalised with familiar furniture, possessions and personal touches to help residents feel more settled and at home.

Daily life blends traditional warmth with modern standards of care. The home uses digital care management software to help staff plan, record and coordinate care, supporting smoother communication and freeing up more time for meaningful resident support.

Alongside this, residents benefit from crafts, games, social opportunities and regular access to visiting professionals such as hairdressers, chiropodists, opticians and other services that support wellbeing and quality of life.

Location and Visiting

Shedfield Lodge enjoys a peaceful rural setting near Wickham and Fareham, with landscaped gardens, countryside views and a strong sense of calm and space. Despite its tranquil surroundings, it remains accessible for visitors and includes a large car park to the front of the home.

Family involvement is actively encouraged, and visiting is an important part of life at the home. Visiting is unrestricted, helping residents remain closely connected to the people who matter most to them.
