Willow Lodge Care Home
This large, well looked after house is full of character. It feels and looks homely. It’s the complete opposite of a modern soulless building. It oozes charm and warmth; it offers large well-proportioned rooms and ample landscaped gardens. It’s a rural setting but not a remote one. The village centre is a short stroll away, the coast a little further, but near enough to enjoy the fresh sea air..
Why shouldn’t you feel you’re in a good hotel, or at large house party with good friends? We’ve planned the ground floor to be the hub of the home, with areas for quiet contemplation with a book or a crossword, areas to watch favourite television programmes or DVDs, areas to enjoy a cuppa and a newspaper, to play a game, to enjoy a chat, to receive your guests and to treat as your own home. There’s even a piano here too.
Have a look at the notice board. There’s always a lot going on: a programme of activities to join in should you wish, and regular outings. Want to look your best for them? No problem. Our services include hairdressing, alongside dental care and chiropody.
If you were planning the perfect care home, maybe it would be something like this. And, if we’ve missed something, we really genuinely want to know.

Houses of this age need upkeep, and we provide it. The building is maintained to hotel standards. When something needs changing or replacing, it is attended to fast. Most care homes don’t draw your attention to the furnishings or the upkeep, but we want to. If we care about the little things, you know we’re care about the bigger picture too.
